Homelessness disproportionately affects Black people. We know this. $O$ will be changing its mission to focus primarily on Black homelessness FIRST as our priority going forward, especially Black men.
We will work with the Empowering a Billion Women Foundation to support Black women by donating and participating to help empower homeless women and children.
For white people who would like to participate: you are welcome whether homeless or not; however we first would like to acknowledge that Black and brown people have been disproportionately affected by poverty, racism, and systematic racism.
